Ut på tur

On Friday it was really beautiful weather so I decided to go for a walk to the lake not far away.

Its starting to get pretty at the moment. The leaves are all turning, Autumn is here now. Its getting cooler too and darker.

Sports day

On Wednesday, instead of school we had a sports day. 2nd year all went to Tronvika in Moss. We went all around the activities in our class groups and got points.

The activities included
-soccer
-crab fishing
-putting up a tent
-choosing and packing a bag for things for a mountain tour
-a game where we threw tennis balls around
-sack races
-leading another person around in a blindfold
-a game where we were in four teams and had to run up and take cards that were a certain suit
-shooting toy bow and arrows and running around a course
-going around a track and making sure we did it in 2 minutes
-a taste test
-creating a dance 
-a quiz
-frisbee golf
-And I think that was all.

It was a really great day, but cold! We were lucky that it wasn't raining the whole day. It was at the start quite a lot. The weather got better as the day went on, but it was really cold most of the day. For lunch we sat around and cooked sausages over a bbq. It was a great day!

Time flies

Exchange is a time in ones life when one realises exactly how fast time can go. I have now been in Norway for 8 months and 2 days! I would not have believed it! The time goes sooooooo fast!

The End of summer

It seems that summer is over for the year. Its now rainy and is a little cold. Its also getting darker. The sun is going down earlier and earlier now.

Success from home

Every year Quirindi (a town near mine back home) holds a Spring Show. This year it was the weekend just gone. They have different competitions cooking, wool, photography, art etc. Some of my photos got entered and I was sucecssful! One of them was judged as the best at the show!  I also won most successful junior exhibitor, as I got 2 firsts and 1 second.

So when I return home in January I'll have 2 sashes and some awards :)

A Discovery!

Well This afternoon was an afternoon of discoveries! We went for a little drive around and I found out some things I found out where some roads lead near where I live. I also discovered that there is a ski place not far away! There are a heap of cross country tracks and a downhill area! Never knew that Even existed! You learn something new everyday!

Packing up my life one again

Well today is d day. Today I move to my third and last family for my year. Time has flown! The Packing is killing me! I have no idea where all This Stuff Even comes from! I basically have 2 extra smaller bags, plus my suitcase is more than 23kg now! And I also have another 2 shopping bags, with Australian Stuff that's gifts for people. Its a lot of Stuff, so my next host family will probably think I've Even brought my kitchen sink with me ;)

Even more moose!

Okay so I just Almost suffered a heart attack! I went for a little walk and encountered moose! 3 of them!

I saw one running in the paddock beside me. Then another one appears out of nowhere. These 2 were only relatively small. Next minute there's a really loud rustle and a MASSIVE moose comes out of the trees a few metres away from me! Then it turned around and retreated back in. Scared the hell out of me!

Yesterday when we were driving home from Oslo, there was a moose! It was walking up the road in front of us for a while! That was so cool! Unfortunately it moved off into the field before I could get a picture, but it was awesome! Never seen one so close before.

Oslo versus Cyprus

Last night we went to Oslo to see the football (soccer, for those Aussies reading). It was a brazil qualifier game between Norway and Cyrprus. It was a really great game! I'm so glad I went. Norway won 2-0!

Party hard!

Last night we had a class Party at my friends house in Moss. It was quite fun :) We had music, danced, talked, ate pizza and cake, played charades and had a good time. One of my friends is going on exchange to England and we had to say goodbye to her. That was hard, who knows when the next time I see her will be.

Anyway, it was a great night! And i Shall post a few pictures another time :)
